1998 Chateau Souverain Alexander Valley Winemaker’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
This was awesome!
Deep purple color and aromas of black berry and cherry and perhaps a little dark with molasses. (Did you ever wonder how many moles it takes to get a whole jar full? Well, you know, I saw a mole once, and it wasn’t very big, and well, his bum was pretty small…Sometimes I just wonder how many moles it takes to get a jar of moleasses…but I digress.) Any way, there wasn’t very much of that last bit. The wine has a huge flavor though. A little smoke, a little coffee, and a touch of tobaco make this one very nice indeed.
